Chewie's Belt were formed in 2006 with existing members Scott Dixon and Graeme Dougal.

Ed Box, Pete Thompson & Gary Foalle from Vendetta have all previously been involved, as well as Clive Jackson & Al Barnes.

In early 2008, Chewies Belt decided on a new full time line up & now have a full 2 hour set list of classic rock and metal covers ranging from Thin Lizzy, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, The Cult, Tesla, AC/DC & Jet amongst others.
